Joint Crisis Committee: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…. The Clone Wars! Welcome delegates, to the most exciting, dynamic and intergalactic committee of CIAC 2017! We are particularly excited to bring you the Star Wars JCC this year, a committee we hope to make as stimulating and fun as possible. Our committee will be representing The Republic in the Clone Wars, a conflict that brought an entire galaxy into a ruinous war that pit two of the most elite fighting forces in history against each other: the Clone Army of the Republic and the Droid Army of the Separatists. Our committee will be facing up against the Separatists, as represented by a rival committee. In preparing to do your best for this committee it is important to be familiar with the canon storyline of Star Wars, but most of all be excited and ready to bring new ideas, strategies and maneuvers to debate. If you commit to the guidance of the Force, you will defeat the Separatist traitors and restore the galaxy to the just and democratic rule of the Republic. The fate of the galaxy rests in your hands. May the Force be with you.
War! The galaxy is in a state of turmoil as the Clone Wars continue to rage across the galaxy. As more planets join the Galactic Republic or the Confederacy of Independent Systems (known as the separatists to the Republic), others refuse to help either side. Led by Duchess Satine of Mandalore, the Council of Neutral Systems refuses to let either side gain systems that could be crucial to the war. However, the duchess has many enemies on her home planet of Mandalore, including the rogue military group Death Watch, headed by the former Sith lord Maul, that wishes to return Mandalore to its warrior past. As the CIS, your job is to turn the tide of the war by winning Mandalore to our cause through any means necessary. This Joint Crisis Committee will be impacted by both sides desperately trying to turn the tide.
