The Collapse of Communism
The year is 1987. Mikhail Gorbachev is the leader of the Soviet Union, and his policies of Perestroika and Glasnost are causing increasing tensions among the eastern bloc. Some nations that were once part of the USSR have already claimed independence, and others are considering following suit. As former and present Soviet nations, delegates of the committee must decide how to maintain the integrity of the Soviet Union while preserving their own economic and political interests.
