CIAC XV Secretariat

The secretariat of CIAC spends countless hours and sleepless nights working to make CIAC as great as it can be, so here's a part of a webpage for them!

Secretary-General

Kenny Fischer | sg@ciaconline.org

Kenny is a junior studying Applied Economics and Management in the Dyson School of Business, concentrating in Accounting & Finance. He’s been involved in Model UN since freshman year of high school as a delegate and chair. Outside of MUN he spends his time working to better his community, being a part of the Dyson Undergraduate Council, and working as a Residential Advisor. Besides work, you can find him reading, swimming laps, or playing video games. Kenny’s looking forward to seeing all of you here for CIAC XV!

 

Director-General

Saad Razzak |dg@ciaconline.org

Saad is a sophomore majoring in Government in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences. He has participated in Model UN throughout high school and has been involved in CIAS and CIAC since the beginning of his Freshman year of college as a committee chair and member of Secretariat. Apart from Model UN, Saad is involved in Cornell Dems. In his free time, Saad can be found reading the newspaper to keep up with local, national, and international politics, hanging out with friends, and cooking.

 

Chief of Staff

Andrew Modrowsky | staff@ciaconline.org

Andrew is a junior double majoring in Information Science and Government in the College of Arts and Sciences. Outside of CIAC, he is involved in undergraduate research, working as a teaching assistant, WVBR 93.5 FM Cornell Radio, and Greek life. In his free time, Andrew loves to read, go hiking, and explore Ithaca. Andrew is so excited to see you all for CIAC XV!

 

Director of Public Relations and Outreach

Dara Neumann | pr@ciaconline.org

Dara is a second-year biology major from Long Island. Outside of CIAC, she is involved in computational neuroscience research, and is also a volunteer EMT and firefighter. Dara also enjoys going to the gym, and she’s looking forward to an exciting conference!


 

Director of Operations

Alice is a junior studying Industrial and Labor Relations, minoring in English, and Law and Society. She has been involved in Model UN since sophomore year of high school and has chaired several of past conferences hosted by Cornell. On campus, she is involved with the Office of Student Government Relations, a Chinese cultural club, and she is a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon business fraternity. In her spare time, she enjoys journaling, cooking/baking with friends, and exploring restaurants and museums near Ithaca.

Lucia Park | events@ciaconline.org

Lucia is a sophomore studying Industrial and Labor Relations at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, with minors in Law and Society and Information Sciences (Info Ethics, Law, and Policy). She's been involved in Model UN since freshman year of high school, and has had experience in a variety of positions. Outside of MUN, she spends her time promoting Cornell through Big Red Ambassadors, stressing about readings, and working as a Speech and Debate coach for the Yang-Tan Institute. Lucia's excited for delegates to come to Ithaca and experience CIAC!

 

Nicholas is a freshman from New York City studying Physics and History in the College of Arts and Sciences. He has been involved in Model UN as a delegate since 7th grade. However, he only has started to staff conferences while at Cornell. Outside of Model UN, Nicholas is an avid tennis player and is involved with the Cornell Astronomical Society, the student club that runs the Fuertes Observatory on North Campus.

 

Caroline is a freshman planning to study Computer Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. She has taken part in Model UN throughout high school as well as in CIAS and CIAC at Cornell. In addition to MUN, Caroline is involved in the Association of Computer Science Undergraduates and enjoys drawing and swimming.

Liam Chelkowski | finance@ciaconline.org

Liam is a freshman studying Chemical Engineering and minoring in Business. He has been involved in Model UN since his freshman year of high school and has enjoyed it ever since. On campus, he is involved in Social Business Consulting, Research within the Alabi Lab, CURB, and the Meinig Scholars Program. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess, eating good food, and playing board games.
