The legacy of the original Banana Wars returns in a new form. As a devastating fungal blight threatens the global Cavendish banana supply, governments, biotech corporations, and agricultural leaders scramble to respond before one of the world’s largest food industries collapses.

Set in the near future, delegates will debate the consequences of aggressive genetic modification, corporate control of agriculture, and the growing instability of global supply chains. As food prices rise and export economies weaken, the international community must determine how far science, markets, and governments should go to preserve the modern food system.
