Cornell International Affairs Conference (CIAC)
Welcome to the eighth session of the Cornell International Affairs Conference, also known as CIAC VIII. CIAC (pronounced similarly to 'kayak') is the annual collegiate Model United Nations conference hosted by the Cornell International Affairs Society,
This year, we have continued to grow our conference while maintaining a welcoming environment for delegates of all experience levels. We aim to create an unforgettable Model UN experience that challenges delegates to find creative solutions to complex problems. Through intense crisis committees and creative collaboration, delegates have the opportunity to resolve key global issues during their weekend in Ithaca. Both inside and outside committee, delegates will create lasting friendships with other students that share a passion for international affairs and diplomacy.
