CIAC (pronounced “kayak”), the Cornell International Affairs Conference, is the annual collegiate Model United Nations conference hosted by the Cornell International Affairs Society (CIAS). CIAC has continued to grow upon its previous success and is ranked among the best conferences in North America by Best Delegate. Currently in our fifteenth session, the secretariat is so excited to welcome both new and returning delegates back to beautiful Ithaca this October!

This year, we have continued to grow our conference while maintaining a welcoming environment for delegates of all experience levels. We aim to create an unforgettable Model UN experience that challenges delegates to find creative solutions to complex problems. Through intense crisis committees and creative collaboration, delegates have the opportunity to resolve key global issues during their weekend in Ithaca. Both inside and outside committee, delegates will create lasting friendships with other students that share a passion for international affairs and diplomacy.
